Cancellation and refund policy
You can cancel for a full refund until your report link is sent. After that, you get your money back if the report can’t meet our evidence bar.

Cancelling an order
- Before the report link is sent: cancel at any time, including after our research has started, for a full refund.
- After the report link is sent: the order is complete and can’t be cancelled. A refund is still possible if the report falls short, as below.
- Three-property pack: reports not yet sent are refunded at ₹1,666 each (the pack price, ₹4,999, divided by three). Reports already sent are treated as above.
To cancel, email support@thecatch.in from the address you paid with.
Refund if we can’t verify it
Every report is held to the evidence standard described in how we check: each line traced to a public source, conflicts shown, gaps named. If we can’t research a property to that standard, for example because it is outside the areas we cover or the public record is too thin, we tell you and refund in full rather than send a weak report.
If you’ve received a report and believe a line isn’t supported by the source it cites, write to us with the line. If we can’t support it, we correct the report or refund you in full, whichever you prefer.
A refund isn’t available because a report’s findings are unwelcome, or because you decide not to buy the property. The report describes the public record; it doesn’t promise any outcome.
How refunds are paid
- We process an approved refund within 7 days, to the original payment method.
- Your bank or card issuer may take a few more working days to show it in your account.
- We don’t charge any cancellation fee.
